This a very pretty Island, a very windy one, the only trees are what people plant, and they lean away from the wind. I could live there in the summer the flowers grow well. There were a lot of
Lupinus in every color, even though the wind blows so much they were straight and tall.
The ship was not able go into port it has a narrow opening between two Island it took about 15 min, we were taken in on a Tender( small boat). They have Penquins there also, Marj and I did not take the tour out to them. We walked the long street. Most of the houses have red or green roofs so they really stood out, as we went in to shore. We did a little shopping got some cards.
Mostly took pictures.

Puerto Madryn Argentina
This goes with the pictures of the Penquins, I hope I saved. This area is very hot and windy we walked with them about 45 min. there could be at least a thousand in the area, some were ready to go out for a swim and to eat. They dig holes and get under sage brush to get out of the hot sun.
We were back to the ship by six ready to sail again. We will spend the next day at sea heading for Falkland Island.
